Description of Artwork: Guerinica is a graphic Modern Art depiction of the atrocities and ravages of war.



Description of Incident: Just prior to when Secretary of State Collin Powell delivered a speech to the Security Counsel, where he beseeched the U.N. that war with Iraq was a neccessary international action, U.N. officials covered the Guerinca mural with a curtain.



Results of Incident: No action has been taken against the covering of the mural.
